Who we are
The publisher and developer of the Nile Basin Knowledge Map (NBKM) is The Nile Basin Capacity Building Network (NBCBN) which is a pioneer Knowledge Network in the Nile Bain. The main objective of this network is to create an environment in which professionals from the water sector sharing the same river basin would have the possibility to exchange ideas, best practices, experiences and lessons learned. Knowledge Management tools are key components in managing our network activities, and one of these tools is the Knowledge map developed and published by NBCBN since early development of the network in 2002.
